Welcome Teams
Our welcome and connection experience is so important to who we are! Our Welcome Team is responsible for making each person feel welcome, from the moment they enter the parking lot until they’re seated in the Worship Center. Hospitality Teams include Parking Lot, Greeting, Connections, Hosts, and Worship Center Ushers.
The Cafe
The Cafe at Genesis Metro serves up more than just coffee, they make people feel at home! The Cafe serves craft coffee drinks including lattes, mochas, smoothies, and more using professional equipment and locally roasted coffee. Our custom blend drip coffee is served at coffee carts with hospitality & a smile. If you‘ve ever dreamed of being a barista, this is the team for you!
GM Kids
GM Kids is a fun, creative, safe place where our babies through 5th-grade children come to worship, build relationships, and experience Jesus in an age-appropriate setting each Sunday. It is our goal for every child to learn that Jesus loves them and has an incredible plan for their life! Safety and consistency is key. All of our volunteers undergo a background check and must complete Ministry Safe training before serving.
Media
The GM Media Team is made up of individuals who have a passion for the technical arts, creativity, and a desire to see people experience God in new ways. Sound engineers, lighting designers, photographers, camera operators, and computer techs are needed each week to facilitate our worship experiences. We are always looking for new volunteers that can serve on Sundays and Wednesdays.
Worship
Drawing people into the presence of God through powerful worship, our Worship Team is a group of talented singers & musicians, who are dedicated to lifting out & leading others in praise to the Lord. Photography & Social Media
Do you have photography experience or a love for social media? We are building these teams and are looking for people with a background in these areas. Share your skills on these teams!
Fuse Students
Fuse meets on Wednesday evenings to minister to students, grades 6-12, through awesome worship, challenging teaching, crazy games, and age-and-gender-specific small groups. There are various roles available to serve at Fuse, including the Set-Up Team, Greeting & Connections, Safety & Parking Lot, Worship, and Small Group Leaders. All teams work together to create a high-energy, highly interactive evening customized specifically for teens.
